Germany 2015- Part 6

Berlin!

I always wanted to go to Berlin. Why not? It's Berlin. It's I love the idea when which part of Germany that you've been? Berlin. Wow, Berlin. Well knowing me, I just liddat!

Berlin  is the capital of Germany and one of the 16 states of Germany. With a population of 3.5 million people,it is the second most populous city proper and the seventh most populous urban area in the European Union.

Located in northeastern Germany on the banks of Rivers Spree and Havel, it is the centre of the Berlin-Brandenburg Metropolitan Region, which has about six million residents from over 180 nations.Due to its location in the European Plain, Berlin is influenced by a temperate seasonal climate. Around one-third of the city's area is composed of forests, parks, gardens, rivers and lakes.

Today we went for sight seeing in Germany for one whole day. Being in group of people was not that cool people, as its too many of them will be around you, need to make sure that they're not lost and yeah, it's not fu*king easy.

We went to Berlin Juni and Flohmarket. Being around Siegessaule, Brandenburger Tor and Unten den Landen. At the end of the day, we shop till drop at the nearest Primark. ( my favourite place to shop)

Germany 2015- Part 5

Still another day in Gottigen.

From our home stay in Braunlage we went again to Gottigen City to have our Campus Visit today.

We're going to be around the The University of Göttingen (German: Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, GAU), known informally as Georgia Augusta, is a public comprehensive research university in the city of Göttingen, Germany. Founded in 1734 by George II, King of Great Britain and Elector of Hanover, and starting classes in 1737, the university is the oldest in the state of Lower Saxony and the largest in student enrollment, which stands at around 26,000. The university is highly renowned and respected both in Germany and throughout the world. This reputation has thus shaped Göttingen into a university city with a high student and faculty population.

We went around the campus and then off we go to Berlin.
Yeah, it's summer in Berlin!!!

We arrived late at night to our Hostel in Berlin. We stayed at Die Etage East Hostel. Langhansstraße 8, Berlin, Germany 13086

Till then and can't wait for our adventure in Berlin.

Germany 2015 - Part 4

It's a cold day in Gottigen. It's a end of Spring and Summer is coming soon.
As Gottigen is nearby the Harz Mountains which famous with Germany Fairy Tales and where the witches from all over the world meet up place for the orgy.

It's good to know some basic information about the place that you've been rite?

We started our day by been locked in the house and we can't open the front door.OMG we created another scene just by jumping out from the windows.LOL..what an experience for us. Sakit la dah tuo melompek tang tingkap, nak tertangga kaki Kak Jemah niaa.

It's 1st of June so we're having an educational visit to one of the school in Gottigen area itself.
It's for the kids to mingle around and exchange the knowledge with the locals.

It was really a nice experience for them and for us too.

We spend almost half a day in the school and then we went around the Gottigen city to have our own free and easy time. I spend most of the time shopping and watching the people around me once waiting for the whole group to get together before we went back to our home stay.

Relatively, Göttingen lies in the very center of Germany and is easily accessible from most parts of the country. It has no airport, but can be easily reached by train or car from larger cities that do. Göttingen's Hauptbahnhof is a stop on the ICE (Inter City Express) train line between Hamburg and Munich and also on the ICE line between Berlin and the South of Germany.

Göttingen is approximately half an hour to Hanover, two hours to Hamburg, three hours to Berlin, four hours to Munich, and two hours to Frankfurt.

Germany 2015- Part 3

As am going this for school field trip, most of the places visited for the kids purposes.

Today is the 1st day we're in Gottigen. So the 1st day we are going out to be around Gottigen and going to Wolfsburg.

Wolfsburg is famous as the location of Volkswagen AG's headquarters and the biggest car plant in the world. The Autostadt is a visitor attraction adjacent to the Volkswagen factory featuring the company's model range: Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Ducati, Lamborghini, MAN, Neoplan, Porsche, Scania, SEAT, Škoda Auto and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. Wolfsburg is one of the few German cities built during the first half of the 20th century.

As this is educational visit, so from Gottigen we took a bus to the nearest train station and off we go to Wolfsburg. We had bagel as our breakfast and headed to Wolfsburg. As it's like a big group of people, what we can't control is the time itself. This is when being a solo traveler and be in big large of people is a definitely a biggest problem for me.As I agreed earlier to be part of the trip, so I just play my role and go with the flow.

Once we're in Wolfsburg they went to a educational tour in Volkswagen factory area and then we went for river cruise ride.

After we had fun for the whole day, then we went back to Gottigen after a very tiring day. Back and I cooked for a nice dinner for all of us.

Germany 2015- Part 2

It's the day. The day when we suppose to fly out from KL- Dubai - Frankfurt.
It's a group of people.
A group of teachers and boarding school students.
As we're flying out at night, I just wearing to loose attire cuz I know I'll be sleeping all the way from Dubai.
It's Emirates. It's just like my 2nd home on air.
I just get to use with the flight ever since flying with them this couple of years.

Smooth journey, till we reached Dubai. It's a long transit about 4 hours. I just spend my nite at the airport.
Eating Paul's my favourite cafe, and tired of waiting.
Hopped the flight to Frankfurt and after 5 hours, hola Frankfurt.

I was like smiling ear to ear cuz my so called adventure gonna started soon.
From Frankfurt we took a train to Gottingen. It's a university town. It's a small city in the middle of Germany.
We arrived there a bit late as one of our members lost her bag. Where all the passport and important documents are all inside.
Then in a middle of the night it took us to arrive our 1st homestay in Germany.
It's fu*cking cold and yeah, the place was awesome.
Can't wait to start our new adventure there.

Germany-Austria 2015 , Part 1

Once am in Dubai, one of my regular customer called me.

She said you wanna follow my school trip to Germany?
It was 4am in Dubai time, I was half awake while am saying YES.
What on my mind that time? School field trip, it's must be cheap.
New country, new stamp on the passport. What else I want? With closed eyes, I replied her whatsapp YES.

The next morning, I thought I was dreaming about it. But when I checked my conversation with her, what the effff? It's real!!
I checked on her date. OMG it's school holiday.
Where it's the most busiest period in a year. Busy, means money.
Germany or Money?
As avid traveler where insane is my middle name, I said who cares. Ado joki ado!

Then I asked, how much I need to pay? RM5k. What? Inclusive everything?
Yeap...OK am jumping up and down.
How many students?
15 of them and 6 are teachers including you.
Wow! Big group.
OK! Excited mode is ON.

Will we when to the big FAT CASTLE? She said YES.
Then I'm happy me and can't wait to be back at that time to start planning my day ahead. As am going  on a Spring- Summer trip. This is my 1st Summer experience.Yeay!

Anyway, alhamdulillah. Another journey to another country where I met new people and they are fuck*ng awesome!

Till then. Lemme checked on the photos, read again my notes & routes and pray that I've the time to write this journey of mine to be shared with all of you.

Dubai- Yearly Getaway

It's Dubai. It's more than 3 times I've been here.
This time?On April 2015.

It's hot, but still it's always one of my favourite place in the world.
I went there just to have my super day out from my hectic life here. Heheheh..

I went there for a week. Just to meet all my friends there, makan-makan and yeah enjoying the cafes there.
Ada kawan duduk Dubai, bolehlah tumpang. Ehh ..rezeki aku lah.Kau takde dendiam nyah.Tak payah nak dengki sangat dengan rezeki orang. Rezeki kau rumah besar, anak ciak miak tu lagi best dari rezeki merayap aku ni , FAHAM.

No photos. It's Dubai. It's just a getaway. But this time I went to flea market, I went to many Malaysian who resides there, indulging myself with many types of desserts, OMG it's super heaven, and definitely will come again. Percaya tak, I still reserve to go on top to Burj Khalifa with someone special. Krikk..krikk..

Believe me, there is nothing much in Dubai, but as I always love the cafes and eateries selection there and it's HALAL, made me like I want to be in Dubai like many times in a year.
It's my choice and please don't judge. For some people saying you're not a traveler then, you are a tourist. Me? I'm who I am. Ada duit jalan, takde dok dendiam kan. Ehmm, still cafe hunting in all over Malaysia is my forte nowadays. Yeap foodie traveler, a traveller who bakes. It's moi!

India 2015, Part 5

Come on.

I'm forcing myself to write more and more in the blog.
Day 4 in Hyderabad. Yeap, we decided to go to heritage site today. Qutb Shahi and Golconda Fort.
Tell me peeps, it's like a dream comes true. I might not an antique collector, but am absolutely into heritage site. I just love to be and enjoy old buildings.

We went to Tomb Qutub Shahi 1st before we went to Golconda Fort.
Being us, we're crazily having photoshoot session with Toy instead of enjoying the historical buildings. It's huge. Super huge. Me, Sheema & Rose finished the tour till the end of the place. While Sara & Along having their own sweet time picnic under the big fat tree for Sara to do her sketching.

The tombs of the seven Qutub Shahi rulers in the Ibrahim Bagh (garden precinct) are located close to the famous Golkonda Fort in Hyderabad, India. The galleries of the smaller tombs are of a single storey while the larger ones are two storied. In the centre of each tomb is a sarcophagus which overlies the actual burial vault in a crypt below. The domes were originally overlaid with blue and green tiles, of which only a few pieces now remain.

We spend half of a day being there. Fees for Tomb is like 10 rupees per person. Then we get 2 autos for us to go to the next destination Golconda Fort.

Golconda Fort is a MUST VISIT place once in Hyderabad especially for the light and sounds show.
The place is super huge and to tell you the truth I've no mood to climb the stairs and be up on top of the hills. Panas ok panas. Kau bajet Europe nak suruh aku panjat castle lama? Kalau sejuk baq ang lama dah aku panjat. So I just lazying around waiting for Sara & Sheema went up on top of the hills. Me, Rose & Along just enjoying our time looking around.

Enterance fees 100 rupees.

Golconda, also known as Golkonda or Golla konda ("shepherd's hill"), a fort of Southern India and capital of the medieval sultanate of the Qutb Shahi dynasty (c.1518–1687), is situated 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) west of Hyderabad. It is also a tehsil of Hyderabad district, Telangana, India. The region is known for the mines that have produced some of the world's most famous gems, including the Koh-i-Noor, the Hope Diamond and the Nassak Diamond.

It's a huge place and definitely worth to visit. The light and show? Alahai kau ibarat derma darah kat nyamuk je bhai. They used Amitabh Batchan voice as the background and its not worth waiting as its too loud and too many mosquitos. Sumpah haram aku tak tak tau apa dia cerita masa dia dok bebel-bebel tu.

Last day in Hyderabad we went back to Charminar area to do some shopping. As Along is not feeling well, I went back early with her.

This trip was a memorable one. When I met 5 awesome people in my life and we speak the same language - traveling. If there is a chance to travel again with them, I'll say yes. Up to today we will still meet up and having our day out together. Till next trip insha Allah.

India 2015, Part 4

It took me nearly a month to write back in this blog. *bluergh*

Damn..yeah am f*cking busy nowadays to catch up life. August will be the sweetest month as it's when my birthday.

Now it is September. The ninth month of the year and I'm still stuck with my India's story.

Well well well..Day 3 here. So what's next? Ramoji Film City it is. Owh what's dat? *flipped hijab of mine*

It's a Universal Studio or Film City alike of Indian version.

It is so? I think it's more like Holywood movie set studio and it's damn huge. It's a film city dear. Can you imagine. Yeah please do so.They have this.Am so impressed.

For Bollywood lover like me *facepalm* this is the place for the shooting for some of the movie. Awesome!

We decided to ask the owner of the apartment to arrange for our transportation there as it's like out of town. It charged us like RM30 per pax for return journey.

So it's affordable with private coach of your own. Before we went there, we had an awesome breakfast like a king at one of the hotel there.

Yeap! When I said hotel, it's sound wow ( like orang kaya) but the the truth is,  this is the place where you can be assured about the quality and the cleanliness of the food! It cost us just for RM7 per pax and hell yeah the table are full with food ya'all. Am a happy me indeed!*joget, joget*

Check out here for more photos and details.

Ramoji Film City here I come.

The place is super huge. When I said it's huge its really huge. About 1600 acres. Welcomed by a big entrance and ticket cost us 800 Rupees, and it's damn hot that day, we decided to buy hat & cap to protect the beautiful face from the sun. *sigh*

Be inside it in a day, catch every shows, and then some of us split as the Q are damn too long and meet up at the vegetarian restaurant inside it for lunch. It was damn so good. I love it so much.

Tq Toy for the super awesome photos!

Then we went back to the city to try beriyani at one of the restaurant called Shahi and it's cost us like RM11 per pax with big portions of food. Again, yeap again, I can't resist the taste of Beriyani here. It's just like chunky heaven!

Dinner and back home to the apartment. I dunno what their activities as am too tired and off to my lalaland earlier as I've lotsa online classes to be entertained once am there.

To be continued till next time!
